The Rotary Club of Portland Metropolitan was chartered in 1994. We are located in Portland, Oregon and serve within Rotary District 5100 and Rotary International. As a volunteer organization of business professionals, Rotary is dedicated to community service, both locally and globally. The Rotary Club of Portland Metropolitan is focused on serving the needs of children.
Through volunteer opportunities, our charitable Foundation and partnering with other agencies and Rotary Clubs, we strive to make the World a better place for children. We work to improve resources in education, medical issues and community support; as well as sponsoring Rotary exchange students.
We meet weekly on Monday evenings at 6:00pm at downtown Portland's University Place Hotel at 310 SW Lincoln Street. We welcome you to join us at one of our $20 dinner-meetings.
Our members are drawn from the community by invitation, and come from a broad spectrum of professions. Portland Metropolitan Rotary is filled with people of the finest sort - making our club a warm and welcoming venue as well as a place to actively give back to the community.
If you would like to learn more about Rotary or how you may be involved, please contact us by email, phone or join us at a weekly meeting. We have an "Open door" policy and have a place set for you at our table.
We strive to offer fun activities, community service opportunities and a better future for children everywhere.
Here at Portland Metropolitan Rotary we are small in number, but big in Spirit. Results and friendships are of highest priority in all we do.
Our projects help support Community Transitional School, an orphanage in Poland, and many other services to help children. Check out our "Projects" page for more details.
If you want to join a club that does big things, please join us. We are a hands on club and would love to have new members who are interested in serving children.
Newcomers are welcome - as are visiting Rotarians. We can be reached at 503-294-9795.
