The Portland Metropolitan Rotary Club established the PMR Children's Foundation is an accredited charitable foundation (501c3) as a means to support the charitable causes endorsed by the Club. It functions as a partnering, yet independent entity from the Club, governed by a Board of Directors.

By maintaining a non-profit status, the Foundation accepts tax-deductible contributions to further serve the needs of children locally and around the World. Through fund-raising and direct contributions from the public, the PMR Children's Foundation continues to support the needs of children both locally and around the World.
